Kitchen companies have come and gone over the years, but Tefore continues to go from strength to strength, having recently (2006) celebrating 25 glorious years.

Phil Dutton started the business from home, fitting interior doors and repairing and modernising kitchen units. It began as a hobby, but Phil soon was prompted to give up his career as a toolmaker his job since leaving school and concentrate on his new career. Over a quarter of a century later, Tefore is the longest continuously trading kitchen company in the area.

The company's growth was rapid as word got around about Tefore's excellent workmanship. Phil’s son Paul joined the company in 1992 becoming a partner three years later , and after spells in Washford and moons moat , the company moved to its current location in washfords Heming road in 2003 were we now have 2 factory's to deal with our continuing work load.

We specialise in the manufacture, supply and fitting of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom units direct to the public and also many trades people.

Our speciality has always been giving the customer exactly what they want.

With all our units available in any size, shape and colour we can achieve this, we also treat all orders the same be them large trade orders or 1 set of draws all receive our immediate attention. One of our key qualities is we employ no sales people. Tefore is solely run by Phil and Paul Dutton who both sell, design and assist in fitting these quality items Due to our ever growing workloads though we employ 4 full time fitters who only work for Tefore and are not sub contractors. At Tefore we believe the reason we have stood the test of time is due to taking pride in our work and our excellent after sales service. Our motto is 'Quality through pride'

Much of our ongoing customer base is from referrals from satisfied customers, many of which come back for repeat business. A major side of our business is kitchen refurbishment with customers saving the cost and upheaval of a new kitchen most of our refurbishment can be transformed in as little as 2 days. 2006 was an exciting year for Tefore when we purchased another unit next to our original premises this was to offer better storage facility when we have manufactured our kitchen units prior to delivery, in the same year we also purchased a new 4mtr dimension saw for accurate cutting of our products. To complement this we purchased a new state of the art edge bander to correctly edge our units to fully match all of our doors.

As with all major home improvements we understand customers have trouble visualising their finished product so we offer a state of the art virtual reality CAD drawing service to show the customer exactly what they will receive, and when you remember Tefore take NO DEPOSIT and no payment due until completion its no wonder we are still successfully trading.

In 2009 we are preparing to locate new premises that will include larger manufacturing facility and a large showroom to show some of the one-off creations that only Tefore can produce.
